For an easy way to find these, type your focus phrase into google and see what “suggested searches” Google proposes at the bottom of the page. Longer content ranks higher, so the more the better. If you can aim for 2,000 words and above then this is a great target to have.
Using images throughout your post is a great way to boost SEO as it makes the content more engaging and enjoyable, as well as being easier to understand. This increases the average time users spend on the page, which gives it a healthy boost. The same goes for videos as well, and for best results include your own personally made videos. Give all images suitable alt attributes. This essentially tells Google what the image is as they can’t physically see it themselves.
It is widely encouraged to include 3-4 external links throughout your post as a means to add extra value to the reader and show that your post is interlinked and relevant within the chosen focus area. Make sure that all external links are for high authority sites, meaning you are only using good quality links. Be sure to include internal links to other useful pages of your site so visitors can visit other posts you’ve written and spend longer on your site.
